Upcoming Events in March

 

Perhaps it's the hope of spring coming, but there is a lot to look forward to coming up next month in March!  One of Philadelphia's biggest events of the year is finally taking place, plus the opening of quite a few new exhibits at various museums.  Pull out your calendar and start planning!

The Philadelphia Flower Show opens on March 1st will run until March 9th.  The longest-running indoor flower show, this event is huge and always lives up to its reputation.









Fans of the television series, Downton Abbey, will be heading to Winterthur in droves come March 1st for the opening of the exhibit Costumes of Downton Abbey.







The Philadelphia Museum of Art delivers yet another amazing art experience with the arrival of Treasures from Korea: Arts and Culture of the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1920) on March 2nd.







Discover the influence minorities and the American pastime had on each other in the fascinating exhibit, Chasing Dreams: Baseball and Becoming American opening March 13th at the National Museum of American Jewish History.
