Victorine's Valentine's Day, hosted by the Hagley Museum and Library on Feb 8th, is named in honor of Victorine du Pont Bauduy, who lost the love of her life and then found a way to live again with the love of teaching. Her own love poems will be on display during this sweet event. Prepare for your own Valentine's Day by learning about the language of flowers and creating your own cards. Decorate a candy wrapper, mix delicious blends for a personalized cup of hot cocoa, and stop in for a taste of heart-shaped gingerbread cookies. Hagley invites its visitors to create Valentine's Day cards to be delivered to local nursing homes. This event will take place from 12:30pm to 4:00pm in the Powder Yards on Workers Hill.
