Holiday Hayride at Arasapha Farms

If you have not yet been to the Holiday Hayride at Arasapha Farms in Glen Mills, PA, then you really need to get there before their season ends!  Daily Vacationer took a trip out ourselves to see what all the talk was about, and we were not disappointed.  If you are looking for some fun holiday cheer, then look no further!

Excitement started mounting as soon as we drove into sight of the HUGE lights displays all over the property.  Our first stop was the living nativity where we met some friendly sheep, goats, and donkeys.  After that it was onto a beautifully lit up Santa's Workshop with animatronic elves and a chance to meet the big guy himself and the Mrs.

Finally we got to the main event: the Holiday Hayride!  Bundled up in the very front of the wagon, we were greeted with a recording from Santa and then sat back to enjoy the magical journey that followed.  The ride was about 20 minutes long and every aspect of it, from the amazing lights displays, to the festive soundtrack (which was timed with the lights), to the speed of the tractor, was just perfect!  And just when we were thinking, "now THIS feels like Christmas!", it got even better.  Toward the very end of the Hayride, we were treated to a dusting of snow and drove past some real live reindeer (now Dasher, now Dancer.....).

After the Hayride, make sure you stop and pick up some tasty refreshments from the food stand and warm yourself by a bonfire.  This is also the perfect place to pick up the family Christmas tree as they had a fantastic selection and very helpful staff.

If you're looking for the Holiday spirit this Christmas season, get yourself over to the Holiday Hayride to enjoy an incredible event.  Oh, what fun it is to ride........
