Penn Museum Summer Concert Series

PM @ Penn Museum is back with a full line up of amazing bands during the Summer Nights Concert Series.  Every Wednesday evening from June 17th to September 2nd beginning at 5pm, enjoy a spectacular outdoor concert with a fun cultural flair.  The $10 ticket also includes admission to the entire museum (kids 5 and under, museum members, PennCard holders, and Penn  Health System Employees are FREE)!

Daily Vacationer checked this series out last summer, and we were not disappointed.  Guests of all ages from young to old were spread around the gorgeous Stoner Courtyard, enjoying each other's company and the wonderful music.  The mood was festive and fun, with people relaxing in any place that looked comfortable: grass, chairs, stone walls, and along side the fountain.
The Summer Concert Series deserves a visit from everyone this season.  In the heart of University City, at one of Daily Vacationer's favorite museums, this event is the perfect way to spend a summer evening.  And even though it's nearly impossible to tear yourself away from the festivities outside, make sure you take advantage of the included museum admission to explore inside the Penn Museum.  The archeology and anthropology exhibits are fantastic, and the historic building itself is breathtaking!  Our favorites: the Egyptian Sphinx (because how we can not love a real Sphinx?), the China Gallery in the Rotunda (that ROOM!), and the current special exhibits The Golden Age of King Midas and Magic in the Ancient World.
Check out the full line up of bands for the summer
and schedule your night (or nights) to go!

Event will be held indoors in case of inclement weather.
